No doubt the rumors of the blog's (as a concept) death have been greatly exaggerated one too many times.
It's safe to say that there are millions of blogs, maybe even tens of millions. Citing any particular statistic is just inviting chaos, so we'll all just agree that there are tons out there.
Today's question is: How many blogs out there are indeed dead and abandoned by their owners, lost forever in the vacuum of cyberspace?
What about Purchasing blogs? Who is still out there?
I recently went to catch up on some of the blogs I have read or mentioned in the past and found out that they are no longer active! However, many good ones still are. Today I want to share some active ones with my readers who might enjoy another perspective on the Sourcing industry.
Tell them Matthew from PurchaseRealm.com sent you!
Vendor Management (no activity for almost a month, maybe he is on hiatus)

Your readers may also enjoy Tim Minahan's (formerly of Aberdeen, now of Procuri) Supply Excellence:

And if they want a good measure of logistics with their SCM, let's mention Supplychainer as well

Since good things come in threes, let's include Sourcing Innovation, a relatively new entrant, for good measure:

Finally, I am endeavoring to maintain a list of relevent sourcing blogs at:

If anyone has any more blogs to add to the list, please feel free to let me know!
