
Yes, the headline is for real. There are people in America paying less than $1 per gallon as I write this blog entry on 5/07/06.
How are they doing this? These people were in the right place at the right time and knew enough to take advantage of an opportunity when it was presented to them. They practiced what we in Purchasing do all the time. They "locked in the prices."
If only we had more opportunities for doing this in our daily lives, I would be be happy to sign up.
