I'm glad to learn that our industry is finally doing something to create career paths for students.
Ask any long-established career Procurement type how he or she got into this line of work, and the answer will very likely be, "I fell into it." In fact, I can honestly say I've never met anyone who said, "I want to be in Sourcing when I grow up!"
At least business students today are being made aware of the field and being encouraged to explore it. In fact, some are being given scholarships and mentoring opportunities.
In my experience, this is very rare. What opportunities do you know of to encourage students to consider a career in supply chain management?

Inspectchina plays integral role in Supply Chain Management in China, auditors of InspectChina also do Pre-Shipment inspection in china, Factory Audit in china, In-process inspection in china, Loading Supervision in China, Laboratory Testing in China, they also audit to COC / CRS standards to meet supplier's international standards.
