Continuing a trend I've started here on PurchaseRealm, I want to recognize some more Procurement professionals who have earned industry honors.
Supply & Demand Chain Executive featured several outstanding Sourcing experts in their sixth annual Pros to Know issue. Their theme for this year is leadership. What an excellent choice. In so many other industries or career fields, people can easily name the famous practitioners or the legendary pioneers. They can also name the current stars. Can we do that in Purchasing? Not usually. How many can you name?
I've recently come across several instances of Procurement-centric organizations and publications recognizing talent in the field. I hope that is a trend that continues.
