As part of my new category on PurchaseRealm called Purchasing Perspective, I've been reading other Know More Media posts and commenting on the purchasing angle or topic they suggest.
I loved the entry Woe To Him Who Distrusts The Vision in John Gratton's blog.
It brought back a classic "Coprorate America" memory of when a department in which I worked I worked was undergoing severe changes, including a name change and upper management.
One of the new managers said, "People who don't want to see things the new way can follow (name of old manager) out the door. The bus leaves at 6."
So, there is a new vision and suddenly everyone should/will/must jump on the bandwagon? Ponder that for a moment and then check this post also by John Gratton.
Makes you think, doesn't it?

What did Paul Simon say? "... just hop on the bus, Gus, make a new plan, Stan..." I think having our own personal vision in mind is the key, then see how it fits with other individual or company visions, then decide if that vision is worth the trip.
